Assemblyman Jim Patterson presented an award to the founder of Scrub Can Inc. at an ceremony in Fresno celebrating the company’s selection as the 23rd Assembly District’s 2018 Small Business of the Year this past Friday.
Founder of ScrubCan Inc., Corey Jackson, founded the garbage bin cleaning company in 2014 when he started with just one hose, going door to door to find clients. Nearly four years later, ScrubCan has moved its operations to a 4,500 square foot building, servicing over 500 residential and commercial clients and employing 21 people.
Jackson has also expanded his services to washing company fleet vehicles with ScrubFleet, cleaning kitchen grease traps and vent hoods with ScrubKitchen, and provides janitorial services with ScrubFacilities.
“In three years, Corey has built a cleaning empire in the Central Valley,” Assemblyman Patterson said. “His vision for ScrubCan is an example of what it looks like when an entrepreneurial dream becomes a reality.”
The Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce was also present to honor Jackson.
